Behind the Scenes With Brooke O'Dell of Sugar Drop

If you're planning on throwing a party any time soon, you've got to stop by Sugar Drop in Brentwood. The adorable one-stop shop sells everything from cake pans to sprinkles (make your own blend at the sprinkle bar!) to paper products.  Owned by Brooke O'Dell, Sugar Drop sells party supplies and also teaches classes on fondant, butter cream and cookie decorating for ages five and up. But that's not all! There's also Camp Sugar Drop, which is for kids ages eight and up. For 2019, students will get lessons in baking, mixing, cooking, and preparing salty and savory foods.

Walking into the whimsical shop is a bit overwhelming- but in a good way. It smells delicious and there are over 600 cookie cutter varieties to choose from. In fact, there is an entire wall dedicated to cookie cutters (see photo above) but that's not even all of the ones available.

The sprinkle bar is especially cute! Mix your favorite sprinkles into a custom blend for a fun, colorful and delightful topping to your cake, cookies or other sweets. You'll also find a ton of other sprinkles and toppings in fun colors and tasty flavors.
