Save a Marriage, LLC (S.A.M.) Seeks to Create Stronger, Healthier Marriages & Families
A dedicated wife and mother, Christina Marie Silmon is the founder of Save A Marriage, LLC (S.A.M.). She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Communication from Tennessee State University, and holds a Master's Degree in Education from Trevecca Nazarene University.
Passionate about building a strong family foundation and community for the next generation, she was inspired to start S.A.M. Her primary goal is to help married couples work through the challenges that come with merging two lives into one, and to create resilient children and families who can overcome adversity. "The focus of S.A.M. is on married couples and single adults contemplating the next stages of their relationship journey and the holistic development of children.”
S.A.M.'s belief is that the foundation for familial success is laid down before a couple is married. Purposeful dating can lead to strong marriages, which create confident, secure children. By making a conscious effort to maintain a healthy marriage, fewer children will come from broken homes. Saving a marriage means the next generation can now flourish without the burden of "statistical acquiescence".

One of the ways S.A.M. achieves its mission is through F.R.E.S.H. events. F.R.E.S.H. stands for Families Redefining and Elevating Standards at Home.
There are three ways to participate in a F.R.E.S.H. Meeting:
Meetings are set up to be a safe place for people to gain and give perspective about everyday life issues. Maintaining a strong marriage sometimes requires extra outside support, and S.A.M. is there to be an active part of each couple's village. S.A.M. is also happy to partner with married couples who are interested in mentoring others by offering advice, guidance, and wisdom on marriage-related topics.

To keep the community connected and accountable, S.A.M. also does Sunday check-in videos that feature Christina and her husband, Joel, engaging in dialogue about marriage, parenting, and relationship topics. Below are two of the videos from their Sunday check-in series.
