Nashville's Most Eligible - Hopeless Romantic Raysa Polanco

Picture
When the words "hot mama" come to mind, it's hard not to think of Raysa Polanco. The 35-year-old mom, who calls Nashville home but was raised in the Bronx in new York, epitomizes strong women who are also stunningly beautiful.

She's been in Nashville for four years and works as a supervisor. However, she'd love to have her own business someday. A self-proclaimed hopeless romantic who "feels all the feelings," Raysa is attracted to men who are not afraid to express their feelings, who are respectful, loving, and trustworthy. If you don't take care of yourself, you don't have a chance with Raysa; unless you are Chris Hemsworth, Omar Borkan Al Gala, or Michael B. Jordan. Then you've pretty much got this in the bag.

If you are not a hot celebrity, however, there are other ways to woo Raysa. If you pay attention to details (she has a 13-year-old son) and take the time to listen (she loves scented candles and air freshener for cars), you just might win her (and any other woman in America) over. But don't try using the pick up line, "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" because she's heard it before and it's not what gets her attention.

Keep reading to learn more about this free-spirited bombshell (who can play piano by ear) and what she is looking for in her dream partner.
What's your idea of the ultimate dream date?
A dream date would consist of genuine smiles somewhere that isn't crowded. Ideally, something that involves walking, with a beautiful view.
What important lesson(s) have you learned from past relationships?
I learned that  I should always take time for myself, to love myself, and remember that I can't depend on others to make me happy.
What do you think is the biggest challenge with modern dating?
Courtship is pretty much non-existent. People are mostly looking for one thing and after they get it, or if they don't, they lose interest.
What are your thoughts about online dating?
I'm not very big on online dating due to the whole catfish thing. I am old school when it comes to that. I want to be able to carry a conversation face to face, see what truly makes a person smile, sad, or curious. Even text messaging can be deceiving at times. With all that being said, I am not opposed to it, especially with what we are going through.

Who should make the first move?
I can be extremely shy, which is something that people find hard to believe because I can come across as an extrovert, depending on the situation. So I would say the other person should make the first move. Haha.
What are some of your favorite hot spots in Nashville?
I really haven't had the opportunity to discover much since coming to Nashville but I have a few spots that have become my favorite:  Arrington Vineyards, Bourbon Steak Nashville, and downtown when it is busy. I enjoy discovering new restaurants and am a lover of music. Being able to discover new music is something I really enjoy. I also LOVE to travel.
Any final thoughts?
I do believe that we are all meant to be loved and love right back. I believe in the now, meaning stop waiting for "later" to do something because five minutes from now isn't promised.
