NashHouse Southern Spoon and Saloon Opens Near Downtown
Pop Hospitality Group, which owns several restaurants in Nashville, just opened a new property close to downtown. NashHouse Southern Spoon and Saloon is located in a music hall but has a pub atmosphere, including a top-shelf whiskey wall. In addition to live music nightly, there is also a 17-foot video wall for watching sports on game days.
As for the food, everything from breakfast to late-nights eats is served. Curated by local restaurateur Kelly Black, the southern-inspired menus include dishes like chicken fried steak, cornmeal catfish, fried green tomatoes, meatloaf, burgers, barbecue and hot chicken. In true Nashville style, the chicken can be topped with mild, hot or "no mercy" sauce. Salads, shareables and desserts finish off the menu, along with specialty cocktails and 36 drafts on tap.
