At the ripe age of 23, singer/songwriter Josh Stephens is quickly becoming a household name as an independent artist in the Nashville music scene. A Belmont University graduate, he recently released his sophomore single, "Who Taught You." The sensual, soulful tune is gaining momentum on streaming platforms, and one listen is all it takes to understand why.
As if his delightfully charismatic appearance isn't enough, Josh draws listeners in with his paradoxical vocal stylings: youthful & curious, yet seductive & enchanting. It's safe to say that the Florida native attracts a largely female demographic that spans generations.

Josh co-wrote the single with Nicole Miller, bringing on Zack Page to produce it. Stylistically, the song echoes some of Josh's musical influences, namely, Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber, and Charlie Puth. His vocals are equally comparable, yet sustain originality in his romantic tenor domain. The lyrics of "Who Taught You" capture the essence of mystery, chemistry, and attraction, bringing longing and uncertainty to the forefront of the storyline.
"Who Taught You" is the second in a series of tracks planned for release throughout the summer and fall of 2021. Josh continues to craft compelling songs and acuminate his artistry as his musical journey in Nashville moves forward. Listen to and download the new single, as well as his debut track, "Runaway," on Amazon/Apple Music/Spotify.
