Bonjour Bakery Brings European Flavor to Nashville
After moving to Nashville from Belgium two years ago, Sabine discovered that it was hard to find European-style baked bread that was up to par with the bread she enjoyed in Europe. Like many small business owners, her solution was to bake her own. Now she runs Bonjour Bakery in Nashville.
Using classic European ingredients, Sabine makes her dough from scratch and has an expanding menu that includes bread, waffles, Madeleines, pastries, and other baked goods. A few of the sweeter items on the menu are crepes, rice pudding, apricot tarts, eclairs, and chocolate mousse. She makes sure to import and incorporate culturally original ingredients into her baking as much as possible.
